Process
Yes! It’s far better for the environment and for your car. Sparkle Car Wash applies high-tech chemistry that efficiently cleans dust and residue, offering added protection to your car’s finish. When people wash at home, they may end up accidentally scratching their vehicle’s finish because the towels and sponges used are too abrasive and not 100% clean.
A recent study shows that the average person uses more than 100 gallons of water when washing a car by hand. Our computer-controlled system uses under 20 gallons of fresh water for each wash , which we then recycle and reuse. Also, when washing at home, people generally use more soap, and that soapy water goes straight into the waterways. As part of our commitment to the environment, we capture and treat all of our water at Sparkle Car Wash!
It’s very difficult to get anything really clean without contact, even with high pressure and harsh chemicals. At Sparkle, we use closed-cell foam, soft-cloth material, and 100% safe biodegradable soaps to gently clean your car. Our soft cloths and foam make contact with your car, which is the best way to get it clean without scratching or dulling your clear coat finish.
Yes! We recycle water through a reclaim system to ensure that you receive a safe, high-quality car wash that is easy on the environment.
We don’t offer detailing, but we do offer the best Express Wash in town!
At our Stroudsburg location, we offer Hand Finishing Services, which include an exterior wipe down, interior and exterior window cleaning, cabin vacuum, tire shine and free air freshener.
The tunnel wash is specifically designed and finely tuned to remove dirt and road grime from the surface of your car, however it is not designed to remove ice, snow, bird droppings, road tar or tree sap. Removing these would require far more friction than traditional cleaning, and could damage your car’s finish. We request that you remove snow and ice from your vehicle before coming to the car wash, as excess snow and ice can damage our tunnel equipment.
Absolutely! Please make sure that the roof is properly latched before you bring your convertible through the car wash— unless you want a shower!
Yes! However, your car’s paint needs at least 30 days to cure before you take it through a car wash. Consult with your body shop for curing times just to be on the safe side.
Protectant is a solution applied in the tunnel which provides a sacrificial barrier between your car’s clear coat and the everyday elements that your vehicle encounters. The protectant is sprayed on, allowing the solution to get behind trim and into corners. It is even fine enough to fill in the microscopic pores and scratches in your clear coat finish. We advise getting a new application of protectant every couple of weeks.
Yes. However, once the integrity of windshield glass is compromised by rock chips (even very small ones), it becomes more susceptible to changes in temperature. So, while you may wash your vehicle with windshield damage, cracks or chips may expand during the process. It’s always best to repair or replace a damaged windshield immediately.
Our towels are treated with an anti-bacterial agent to keep them soft and safe for the finish on your vehicle.
Power antennas are hollow at the core and will break if left in the raised position, so please lower all power antennas before coming through the wash. Sparkle is not responsible for antennas that have not been lowered. Aftermarket products such as CB and cell phone antennas should also be removed prior to washing to prevent damage.
Unfortunately, we can’t be responsible for the safety of aftermarket accessories to your vehicle, including bug shields. Most customers who have bug shields wash their vehicles without incident. However, problems can arise if the shield has prior damage or if it is made from low-grade plastic.
We are unable to wash dually trucks or trucks with items in the flatbed, such as fuel tanks, loose items, or debris. Our wash tunnel height measures 7 feet, so lifted vehicles above this clearance height will not fit. We also do not service vehicles with luggage racks, ladder racks, greasy fifth wheels, or aftermarket parts that are not deemed safe.
While we strive to get all cars as dry as possible there are many factors at play- the shape of your car, the previous care of the vehicle, the age, nooks, and crannies that drain out after you leave, and many more.
Our wash material is made of a specially formulated closed cell foam and microfiber substance that is safe and gentle on your car’s surface.
Our towel Exchange program provides you with a clean towel, every visit! It is a onetime fee of $4.00. Simply give us your old towel, and we will exchange it for a freshly washed one!

The maximum height limit for all Sparkle Car Wash tunnels is 7 feet. Our self-serve bays – exclusively at our Stroudsbug location – can accommodate up to 9 feet in height.

You can request a copy of your receipt by calling us at any location, fill out a contact form on our website, or stop by the car wash and see an Attendant.
This upgrade is only available at our Stroudsburg location, and costs $15 – $19.00 in addition to your tunnel purchase or paid monthly club membership.
Our touch screen kiosks for the tunnel do dispense change. If using the self-serve kiosks located inside of the bay, exact change is required. If you need change at the self-serve bay area, please see the central payment terminal at the front of the building.
Club Questions
We do not offer an unlimited Club Membership program. But Sparkle Car Wash does offer two different club programs: the Daily Wash Club, which allows for 1 wash per day and the Monthly Wash Club, which allows for 10 washes per month total. Pricing varies depending on the package selected.
Simply visit Sparkle Car Wash, select the wash club package that you want and pay with a credit or debit card. The credit or debit card used when you join will be charged monthly on your anniversary date.
To quickly and easily update your payment method, simply talk with a team member on site. In order to ensure your account’s security, we do not update cards over the phone or by email.
You can discontinue your membership by visiting any Sparkle Car Wash location and speaking with a team member, or by completing our online termination request form on our website. Please allow 2 business days for your cancellation to process. No refunds will be given when discontinuing membership.
In order to allow processing time, any updates should be completed 2 business days prior to the anniversary date on which your card will be recharged. If you cancel, your plan will remain active until the next billing date and you may continue to wash during this time.
No, you will not receive a refund. Your plan will remain active until the next billing date.
We would be happy for you to return as a Club Member. Simply visit your local Sparkle Car Wash and see an Attendant or re-activate your membership at the touch screen terminal at your next visit.
Our Club Memberships can be transferred from one car to another in the event you replace your vehicle. Please see a Sparkle Attendant to assist with this process.
Yes, you can suspend your Club Membership. It’s a quick and simple process! Simply see one of our Attendants to process the request, call us at any location, or reach out via the contact form on our website.
When you’re ready to reactivate your membership, just come see us again and we’ll quickly have you up and running. Our software also automatically suspends memberships that have not been used for 60 days. This is a courtesy to our customers who may be traveling or moved away and forgot to suspend their memberships.
Yes, this is the most convenient way to renew.
Yes, Club Memberships are valid at all Sparkle Car Wash tunnel locations.
